well- it’s official! i put in my formal resignation at work and my last day at the day job (cubby hole) will be june 5, 2007!!! hoorayyy !!!! (insert happy dance here) it’s an exciting and scary time for me. but finally i will be able to focus on imogene, blogging, and studio work - all of the things that i LOVE and just don’t have the time/energy for with a 9-5. (i think i haven’t soldered in over a year!!) wish me luck! it might be quiet here for a while until then. . .
i just wanted to say thanks to all the people out there who are full-time shop-owners or bloggers. you have been a real inspiration to me.
xoxo

congrats, annie! very exciting. i can’t wait to see what happens when you’re a full time crafter/blogger/shop owner!

CONGRATS! I am so happy for you, your bank account may suffer at first, but you will never know the difference! DO me a favor though, don’t discover that you are knocked up on your last day, it kind ruins the majic =)
And check out this book, it wll help you when you are feeling unsure about your “lack of real job”.

Annie-
First let me tell you how jealous I am. I am reading your blog in my cubicle right now while I eat my lunch, god bless Giant’s salad bar. You are lucky that you have a bit of start up to hold on to while you go through this transition. I can’t tell you how much I want to leave work right now and never come back. Don’t get me wrong or anything, I like my job, but my dream to one day open a cafe/ gallery will not disappear until I am force feeding my customers cookies and brooches like the happy little Jewish lady that I secretly am.
GOOD LUCK!! although you don’t need luck, so I will say GOOD SUGARDADDY!
Congratulations! that’s very exciting. i’m glad you’re joining the ranks of the gainfully “self-employed” (a.k.a. can take naps in the middle of the afternoon if you feel like it)
