i’m proud to announce that the charm city craft mafia will be holding our very first workshop for artists on oct. 20.
what exactly will we be learning about? not how to crochet your pet’s likeness, screenprint your own business cards, or how to make a lamp out of a beer bottle, but rather, we will have a session with c.p.a. AND esquire extraordinaries John Mayo and Curtis Cooper.
join us to learn all about contracts, copyrights, business registration, record-keeping requirements, tax filing and more.
did i mention that this is a free event? did i also mention that lunch will be provided by our local chipotle? did i mention that space is limited so you should sign up quickly!?
now, on to collecting beer bottles and lightbulbs. . .

i first saw chad’s work (devoted bee) a few months back at pile of craft. i was immediately drawn to the somewhat melancholy and very sweet quality of his illustrations. and thus- had to have them at imogene! now you can find devoted bee stationary right here and if you’re interested in obtaining archival prints, chad also has a beautiful etsy store.

i found the most amazing book this weekend at my local discount book store:
“femmes de papier” by cabre, sebbag, and vidal.
-an illustrated history of the perfume card-175 pages worth of gorgeous pictures!
i wasn’t able to find images ANYWHERE so here are a few from my camera.
