hello kitty tin holds solder pallions
i can’t bear to keep it to myself any longer. i’ve been a little distracted from my one a day challenge here in the studio. instead of designing and making, i’ve been organizing, destashing, and packing. it became apparent to me that i’m quickly growing out of the back bedroom of the house- the tools and grime involved in running a jewelry studio are taking over! the news is: i’m moving to a beautiful studio space away from home!
now that the apprehension has subsided, i’m SO EXCITED to spread out in a 900 sq. ft. space (to be shared with steve). at first, i was gripped with fear at the thought of my work being five miles away instead of down the hall. this move will probably make 12+ hour days history and this i am coming to terms with.
the new space is equipped with beautiful natural light, a utility sink, ventilation, room for a shipping station AND photography station! not only that, we will be freeing up two rooms in our house as steve’s office will also move with us. exciting!! move in date is not until march 10, but i just couldn’t contain myself.
feeling a little nostalgic today, here are some shots from around the studio (soon to be reading room). i will keep you up to date with the move and a new challenge project to come in near future. thank you for letting me share!!
