i’m just plugging away today- the usual soldering, grinding, filing, and sanding.  i could sure use a nap!  i’m so pleasantly tired today.  i think one of the things that keeps me  energized and productive is that there is no specific blueprint for any style in this line- each piece is completely unique- i’m always excited to see a piece through to the end.

i’m in the homestretch now to acc. . .   i am feeling a little anxiety- not about my work, but about how the altcrafters will be received by the “regulars” in the acc scene (for lack of a better generalization. . . ). i don’t think these fears are unfounded. . .  (see our lengthy discussion)  i will not lie- i wasn’t sure if i wanted to participate in acc at all after reviewing aforementioned discussion- i didn’t think i could handle any animosity that might be thrown my way.  sadly, i’ve already experienced some negativity from an individual.  unfortunately, my spirits have dampened a bit from it.  but, i’m trying hard to remember that one individual does not a community make!. . .    on the very bright side, i can’t wait to meet the other altcrafters and see the ones who i haven’t seen in some time! i hope, if you are in baltimore or the surrounding area, that you will be able to stop by and say hello-i could really use the moral support! thanks, as always, for listening
