little tidbits of info today. . .

i have found two new chain colors!  ooohhh, i just love the two together.  i’m working on a brand new necklace style that will incorporate the both chains. . . yes, indeed!

 i was feeling the blues the other day, so i made a little trip the thrift store- treasure hunting often takes my mind off of bluesy thoughts.  above are two sweet treasures that came home with me.  i can’t wait for the next dinner party where i can serve cream out of the creamer instead of the carton!

finished and off to quirk gallery.  i decided to oxidize her afterall.  i suppose i was feeling a little dark. . . i promise there will be unoxidized rings to come in the near future

today i finished some new hollow fab necklaces. i oxidized and then strung each of my pendants on to a sterling neckwire. as i was preparing for a photoshoot with a few of my pieces, i put these necklaces in a little pile and BAM!!!! look at those multiple shapes together! i love it. i know what i’ll be working on next!! for now, each pendant will be available separately on a sterling silver neckwire at ACC.

i have sold out of the unoxidized bird necklace. there will be none available again until 2009. if you are in need of one, please check out one of our awesome retailers- they may have some in store!

hmm, i suppose i can see how twitter can be very helpful in such a case as this- short and sweet blips of info.

but i’m taking a stand- i’m saying NO to twitter!!  how can one person maintain all of this technology?  blog, etsy shop(s), webshops, website, myspace, facebook, flickr, linkedin, twitter. . . ahhhhhhh!

okay, so i’m having a computer-overload meltdown over here.  time for an iced coffee and some good old-fashion work at the jewelry bench, eh?

p.s.  i’m SO excited about the new insect wing necklace!  it is riveted together at one point with 14kt gold which allows the wings to be be movable/adjustable, so you can position it as you please!

goodness! i’ve been in manic production mode, yet still might have to take orders at this weekend’s show because i only have one of certain styles. eek! i’m calling it a day though as it is G O R G E O U S here and i believe i now have a case of tennis elbow from sanding and sawing!
