hello monday . . .

it seems like that inspiration swimsuit is still on my mind.  i suppose it’s time to take a trip back to my hometown.

these pieces are coming to the etsy shop today around 3:30 pm.  this time, i mean it!

there are some new plastic goodies up in the bead shop and hopefully by the end of the day, you will see some new pieces in the jewelry shop.

the challenge 

this bulb is dormant until next year. to me, it acts as a symbol of opportunity, potential, and growth. the second part of the challenge i will complete tomorrow. as a bonus, i won’t be creating another piece of jewelry, but a home for the bulb to live. perhaps, if we are lucky, she will awaken next april and i will be able to wear a flower on my pinky for a week or two. quickly, i must put her back under some earth! more photos to come shortly. thank you for following me this week!

i will be updating the VintageBeadBoutique all throughout the day today. keep your eyes peeled for some delicious new treasures and the return of some old ones as well!

here is the piece from yesterday, only shot from another side.  i’m still continuing my explorations with the scalloped frames, black and gold, and art nouveau  themes. interesting to see how all of these individual ideas slowly came together.  what next, i wonder?

i also worked on tiny little poppy earrings, but am not so pleased with the results of the etch. will give it another go tomorrow. for those of you awaiting the “french lessons” earrings- have no fear- i’m still perfecting those too!
